President and Chief Executive Officer
Paul Doscher is passionate about his belief that enterprise search is the enabling technology that will allow companies to realize the true value from their Big Data (both structured and unstructured). As CEO, Paul is responsible for LucidWorks’ vision and success in the enterprise-wide search, discovery and analytics market. He comes to LucidWorks with 30 years of sales, marketing and business management experience within high-tech enterprise software. Prior to LucidWorks, Paul held the position of CEO for Exalead Inc, a global provider of enterprise search, where he led the company from 2008 through 2011. In 2003, Paul became CEO and one of the principal founders for JasperSoft, one of the top commercial open source business intelligence platforms in the market. In 2000, Paul joined Vmware as the company’s EVP of world-wide field operations where he defined and executed the distribution strategy that formed the basis of the company’s world-wide success. Earlier in his career, Paul held positions within companies including General Manager of Americas for Business Objects(Now SAP), Vice President of world-wide Marketing and Business Development for Entrust and Vice President of US channels for Oracle.
Chief Technology Officer
Grant Ingersoll is a co-founder of LucidWorks as well as an active member of the Lucene community – a Lucene and Solr committer, co-founder of the Apache Mahout machine learning project and a long standing member of the Apache Software Foundation. Grant’s prior experience includes work at the Center for Natural Language Processing at Syracuse University in natural language processing and information retrieval. Grant earned his B.S. from Amherst College in Math and Computer Science and his M.S. in Computer Science from Syracuse University. Grant is also the co-author of “Taming Text” from Manning Publications.
Vice President of Customer Success
Sarath Jarugula has more than 12 years of management experience in engineering, product strategy, and product marketing, with expertise in semantic search, CRM, enterprise and consumer software products. He joins Lucid from InQuira, where he was senior director of product management, responsible for search, user experience, and new product initiatives. Prior to InQuira, he was the director of product management at Knova Software, where he led the product strategy and roadmap efforts for Knova’s $30 million enterprise search, collaboration, and knowledge management product line. Before Knova, he was a senior product manager at Microsoft, where he led the effort to create a performance management framework that is recognized as a Top-5 Microsoft management tool and is offered as part of Microsoft’s service solutions. Mr. Jarugula also held management positions at eGain Communications, Gandiva and NEC.
Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Services
Tsuchiyama, with over 16 years of sales management experience, was most recently vice president and general manager of worldwide field operations at Nlyte Software, and held previous positions at HP and Accel-Ops. In those earlier roles, he led international market entry and expansion, building and mentoring high performing field teams, and defining and executing go-to-market strategies that helped scale from pre-revenue to $50M.
Chief Product Officer
Hayes joins LucidWorks as chief product and marketing officer to help stoke the product innovation engine, build a world-class partner program, and meet rampant demand for LucidWorks search and big data solutions. Hayes has 15 years of product, marketing and business development experience. Most recently he was head of technical business development for Splunk, where he was responsible for defining the company’s market category and key product feature sets. He created and led the company’s global partner program, building the ecosystem to more than 50 consultants, developers, resellers, system integrators, service providers and technology partners. Earlier in his career, Hayes served as a software engineer at Genentech, where he built solutions that supported the sales and drug development teams in their field activities.
